We recently submitted our 3 hot sauces to The 5th Annual Old Boney Mountain Hot Summer Night International Hot Sauce Competition 2022. This hot sauce competition raises money for charity, they keep nothing. This is a something we can get behind! Money raised goes to The Fire Departments Widows, Orphans & Assistance Fund and the Old Boney Mountain Foundation for Kids.
This hot sauce competition gets entries from far and wide. This year they had over 500 submissions from 9 different countries. It's an honor just to be in the running with so many other brands. While we didn't win any categories we were among a handful of brands which had multiple sauces as finalists for their respective categories. Our Habanero, Orange, Ginger Hot Sauce was a finalist for the Hot division and our Cayenne, Garlic was a finalist for the Mild division. Many of the other brands that had multiple sauces as finalists have been around for a number of years, some have 10+ years under their belt.
To be such a young company, receiving this type of recognition shows that our hard work is paying off.
